The Chancellor and Chairman, Board of Regents of Covenant University, Dr David Oyedepo, has cautioned career professionals on the danger of abandoning their God-ordained professional calling in the quest to seek greener pastures.

The Chancellor and Chairman, Board of Regents of Covenant University, Dr David Oyedepo has highlighted the importance a blend of determination, dedication, discipline and sacrifice in the making of a successful leader in any endeavour in life.

The Dean, Covenant University School of Postgraduate Studies, Professor Akan Williams, has described the conditions in which most students in Nigerian institutions undertake their graduate work as less than congenial. He advised that there must be a departure from this trend if postgraduate research will align with the quest for national development and global relevance.

The University Secretary, Pastor Adedeji Awojaye, has advised the returning students of Covenant University to prepare for a better experience this session by applying themselves to   their studies and kingdom service, as preparation speaks about being a better version of one’s self.

The Chancellor of Covenant University, Dr David Oyedepo, has charged management, faculty and staff of the University to think the unimaginable in the quest to start proffering answers to myriads of problems besetting humanity.

In recognition of the astute contribution of the faculty-base of Covenant University in elevating the University among elite institutions of learning in the world, the Board of Regents, the apex decision-making body of the University, has approved the promotion of members of faculty for the current academic session.

Christmas came early for the officers and men of the Nigerian Police Force, Onipanu Division, in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Council, when the Management of Covenant University, through her Community Development Impact Initiative Committee (CDIIC), donated a 30KVA power generating set to assist the Division in her quest to serve and protect lives of members of the community.

The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Ota Chapter, has sought Covenant University Management's assistance in ensuring that engineering students in the University get enrolled as members during their studentship in the University.
