Few days after successfully hosting an international conference/workshop on New Trends in the Mathematical & Computer Science with Applications to Real World Problems, which drew participants from Europe and the US, Covenant University is again playing host to inventors from all nooks and crannies of Nigeria.
As part of strategic efforts in making Covenant University more robust in delivering qualitative service for the realization of its vision and goals, the University’s Board of Regents has approved a new management structure for the University with effect from September 1, 2009.
The College of Human Development held its 2008 College Week, dubbed Green Week, between March 9 and 15, 2008. The event packaged to showcase the programmes, facilities and special features of the College, Open Day, Career talks, Carnival and special awards. The event also coincided with the Vice Chancellor's press conference, which heralded this year's College across the University's three Colleges.
Covenant University's 21st Public Lecture will critically explore the virtuosity of mud structures as may be found in the major Nigerian/African cultural context, especially their suitability in contemporary building structures with a view to creating a typical Nigerian or African vocabulary for architecture.
History was made on Wednesday, November 21, 2007, when Covenant University played host to key officials from the Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the United States Embassy in Nigeria.

The visit was historic being the third of its kind in three years that the University was hosting the team from PAS. The previous visits coincided with the International Higher Education Week while this year's took place a day to the U.S. Thanksgiving Day, celebrated annually.
The visit featured an interactive session with the University Management team led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Aize Obayan and a special lecture presentation delivered by the leader of the visiting team and Counselor for Public Affairs, U.S. Embassy in Abuja, Dr Atim Eneida George.
