Covenant University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Brunel University, London, on May 16, 2024, to promote educational collaborations and international understanding between the two institutions.

The MoU also seeks to advance institutional partnership in the area of development of research collaboration, promotion of early career research skill development, mentoring, PhD programmes, summer school programmes, publications, and provision of cultural and intellectual enrichment opportunities for the staff and students of both institutions.

The institutions endorsed the MoU during the official visit of the Vice-Chancellor of Covenant, Professor Abuiodun H. Adebayo, to Brunel University.

Founded in 1966, Brunel University London is an international university renowned for its education, research, spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship. The University ranked joint Top in the UK and 4th in the World for International Outlook in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024. It also ranked among the Top 10 Research Intensive universities in the UK and has one of the UK’s largest Engineering Colleges known for its creativity and innovation across various integrated programmes and disciplines.
